The Board of Advisors

It is a group composed of members of the college community which provide recommendations to the Board of Directors outlining methods for improvement of the College’s provision. The Board has no power to make decisions but can recommend courses of action to the Board of Directors.

Mission:

The Board of advisors is entrusted with the role of ensuring that policies and procedures of SCIE are consistent with the College’s long-term objectives and principles of management.

Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Board of Advisors is to provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding a number of areas relating to the College including:

  •        i. The College Budget including recommendations on pay
  •        ii. Long term development targets
  •        iii. Relationships with the wider community
  •        iv. Determination of tuition fees
  •        v. Curricular and co-curricular provision
