The International Award at SCIE
The INTERNATIONAL AWARD (IA) is also known as the Duke of Edinburgh Award (D of E Award)
Concept
The Award concept is one of individual challenge. It presents to young people a balanced, non-competitive programme of voluntary activities which encourages personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility to themselves and service to their community.
Format
The IA program has 3 Levels of Award –BRONZE/SILVER/GOLD

Students are encouraged to start with the Bronze Award

Each Award has 4 Sections which must be completed before the Award can be presented

Note: Students can take as long as they want to complete each Award – the maximum age limit for completion of awards is 25!
